Abstract

Learning must continue no matter what the obstacles are. It is through this context that the modular print as one of the forms of learning delivery mode in this new normal has paved a massive shift in students’ way of learning. However, every teacher took it as a challenge instead of a problem. Lodlod INHS took part in this challenge of making a worktext which is a supplementary learning material where a lesson is discussed briefly but concisely with given examples as to how a problem will be solved and in the last part, an exercise is given to check the learners’ understanding of the lesson. The effectiveness of the teacher-made worktext was evaluated through the use of Mean Percentage Score (MPS) of the respondents and a survey questionnaire. It was found out that the MPS before the facilitation of the teacher-made worktext in Mathematics to the Grade 7 learners section Saturn was 56.69%. After the facilitation, the MPS was 76.%. The teacher-made worktext in Mathematics for grade 7 learners is of valuable significance in improving the academic performance of the learners that give an impact on the result of the MPS. Based on the findings, the teacher-made worktext in Mathematics conducted to grade 7 learners section Saturn of Lodlod Integrated NHS is “Effective.”
